ACTORS COLLECTIVE CREATIVE


DIRECTOR ON-CAMERA SERIES: DERAN SARAFIAN

The A.C is proud to welcome director DERAN SARAFIAN (nominated for 2 primetime emmys) who will be hosting our director on-camera series. Deran has been in the business for over 20 years and has directed some of Hollywood’s top TV shows including HOUSE M.D, THE FORGOTTEN, FRINGE, CSI:NY. ,CSI MIAMI, LOST, THE BLACK DONNELLYS and many more. Deran has also acted as a successful producer with credits such as HOUSE M.D & C.S.I:NY.

This is a unique opportunity for a select group of actors to select a 3-4 minute scene which will be shot by the Director. The workshop will be set-up as follows:

WEEK ONE - April 3rd, 2010

Actors will perform their chosen scenes for Deran.  Feedback will be given for each scene and Deran will block & re-direct each scene.

WEEK TWO - April 10th, 2010

Scenes will be blocked out and shot. Both actors will receive coverage shots for each scene.

WEEK THREE - April 17th, 2010

Scene will have been cut and edited & class will view each scene. Deran will comment on each scene and end with final comments. Scene will be e-mailed to each actor at the end of workshop series.

REQUIREMENTS

THERE WILL ONLY BE 16 SPACES AVAILABLE FOR THIS WORKSHOP. THIS WORKSHOP WILL REQUIRE THAT ACTORS WILL BE AUDITIONED FOR THIS WORKSHOP SERIES.
